The Jim Willis Studentship was established by Cybec Foundation and honours the late Dr James Hamlyn Willis, a distinguished former senior member of staff at the National Herbarium of Victoria.

Burnley College at the University of Melbourne has been a centre for teaching and research in urban horticulture since 1891. Dr Cassandra McLean was a Senior Lecturer at Burnley College.

Ned’s Corner is a large property owned by The Trust for Nature with a 35km frontage to the Murray River. The property had previously been used as a sheep station and was seriously degraded. Cybec Foundation paid for the cost of refurbishing the homestead to make it into a centre for environmental studies for La Trobe University.
